About Us

  • A set of behaviors: Trust can be acting in ways that depend on another person.
  • A belief: Trust can be a belief that a person will behave in certain ways.
  • An attitude: Trust can be an attitude we have towards people whom we hope will be trustworthy.
  • A feeling: Trust can be a feeling of confidence and security that a partner cares.
  • A property interest: Trust can be a property interest held by one person for the benefit of another.
Trust can be important for effective teams because it provides a sense of safety. For example, trust can mean that you rely on someone else to do the right thing. You believe in the person's integrity and strength, to the extent that you're able to put yourself on the line, at some risk to yourself.

Trust can also mean:

Dependence on something future or contingent
  • Hope

  • A situation in which one member of a family advances money to another and asks the second member to hold the money or to invest it for him
